The traditional dances on Christmas and New Year are held almost in every town and is an amazing enjoyment and fun.

The closest railway station is Tivim at about 30km. the Airport is 50 km. away and is a drive of 1 hour from Peravel. Other railway stations are at Karmali, Margao, Vasco. The farest distance is almost 55 kms from Peravel.
