The Peravel is a traditional 2 storey (RCC) structure and modest in décor. Well maintained with lots of ventilation and greenery. Flagged colourfully at the entrance 'Peravel beach holiday home' offers a homely and friendly ambience to its guests. It is owned and operated by Avelino D'Souza and family. Your entrance to the premises is welcomed by the reception on the right and the bar at the left amidst the green lawns having ample seating under sun umbrellas and a little pond with a peeping lotus. Sun beds are available for relaxation or to catch a bit of tan. Besides you can also watch the television from the bar area and the garden area. For convenience of guests all music , TV plays between 8 am to 11 am and from 5pm to 11 pm.

On the roof terrace also there is ample sitting with tables sun umbrellas and chairs and sun beds. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset from here. Some superior Queen bedded rooms having air conditioning or no air condition are located around the terrace and are priced higher. The garden is also viewed from here. A well equipped, Superior dormitory for 6, having aircondition, fridge and TV is available overlooking the terrace and the garden and the sea. The leading staircases are all open and protected with safe railings. Fire safety, Children safety, sufficient natural ventilation has been observed.

'Peravel' has 22 self contained rooms. Each room has a attached balcony with chairs and a teapoy, that opens up the main square and has colourful stone studded benches to sit and laze upon overlooking the gardern. The rooms are basic and the amenities include: Safety Deposit Lockers in every room , attached bathrooms having running hot and cold water from underground spring well and Solar Heaters respectively, western closet and a shower. The flooring is either mosaic or marble. Done simply without frills, the spacious rooms provide all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay including twin or double bed, teapoy, a sizeable wardrobe, mirror, rack, writing table, chairs, ceiling fan or air condition, reading light and normal lights. The larger standard family suites also have kitchenette facilities. Extra person with bed in the room, television in the room and fridge are available at extra cost on availability basis.

From Peravel distance to other beaches i.e. Calangute, Baga, Vagagtor, Anjuna and others, is in a radius of 3 to 20 kms drive. The Major Towns of Goa like, Panaji, Mapusa, Margao, Vasco, Bicholim Lake and places of touristic interest i.e. Bom Jesus Basilica housing the Holy Relics of Patron Saint of Goa Francis Xavier, Se Cathedral, Mangueshi Temple, church of Fr. Agnelo at Pilar, Dudhsagar Waterfalls, Spice Plantation, are within 25 km to 50 km. The Carnival, the Shigmo are other entertainment. The Traditional dances on Christmas and New Year is an amazing enjoyment.
The closest railway station is Tivim at about 30 km. The Airport is 50km. away and is a drive of 1 hour from Peravel.
